Over on Pixel Grid pixelgrid.forumotion.net/forum… there's a monthly contest. June's theme was : Forever *Insert Colour* .

It was described by the following text :

"Take five (5) seasons of Power Ranger/Sentai and create a ranger from each of those five seasons. Their color should be the same and further, a color not in common rotation in PR/Sentai series. Meaning no: red, blue, yellow, green, black, white, pink, gold, or silver. And that's for the "true" values of those colors. So although blue's not an option, colors like indigo or cyan are. If you have any questions on an acceptable color, go ahead and ask.

Contestants don't have to claim colors or any five seasons for exclusive rights on this contest. In fact I think it might be cool to have some overlapping color and season choices to see the different routes taken.

Be creative as you want, so long as the rangers you make look like they belong in the season you made them for."

I got the second position (out of three participants) and this is my entry, "Forever Neptune" (Neptune being the shade of blue that I created for myself, It's a colour that I like to marry with copper).

Along with the characters, I wrote some background informations for each character. Enjoy.


Member of the Dread Pirate GokaiBlack's crew (a character by my friend , GokaiNeptune is represented by the infinity symbol. She can transform into all of the past Neptune Rangers as well as some other colours. Her weapon is a harpoon and she can use it to "summon" past rangers as well. Well, i say summon, but really she forces innocent bystanders to be the host of the spirits of those rangers and to transform into them. - DekaNeptune, Space Police Dekaranger from the Tokko division, she is number 20. Her Brace throttles are locked, her left one is Ice fist and her right one is Lightning fist.

- GekiNeptune's Geki Beast is the Dolphin. Not really made to fight on land, he still managed to develop a style of DolphinKen. Rushing head down on his adversaries, jumping all over the place, turning fast on itself and giving double kicks is how he fights. He mainly uses his GekiTonfa normally but from time to time he also combines them to form a sort of tuning fork that he uses to block his foes movements.

- MagiNeptune, the Magician of the swamp. Coming from Greece, he's modelled after the Hydra. His magic is the manipulation of vegetation, earth and water. He can't create water out of thin air though so his magic works better in a swamp or in marsh. His Magistick can transform into a reflecting shield.

- ShinkenNeptune, Master of Thunder. He controls this rare element and uses a twin Shinkenmaru fighting style. His personal weapon is the Thunder Baton, an electrified 6 feet long (180cm) pole.
